Should your child develop symptoms of Coronavirus within 48 hours of school closing for the Christmas Break and subsequently receive a positive test notification of this should be promptly reported by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your email should include the date the symptoms started, the last day your child attended school, the date the test was taken and the date of the positive result. Monitoring of this email address will take place until 3pm on 24th December to allow time for test results to be received. After 12noon on Friday 18th December the phone line and the office email address email@example.com will NOT be monitored until Monday 4th January 2021 therefore it is important you send your email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You only need to make contact if symptoms develop on or before the 20th December and a positive test is then received. Symptoms after this date resulting in a positive test would not be connected to school and you would need to follow NHS test and trace guidelines. Should we receive notification of a positive test we will notify you by email using the email address we hold on file for all other communication. Any email sent will contain full instructions on what you should do.
We ask that you only make contact using email@example.com for positive COVID tests and that all other matters are communicated from 4th January 2021 or sent to firstname.lastname@example.org to be picked up on 4th January 2021.
