Welcome to Flitcham Church of England Primary Academy

Flitcham Church of England Primary Academy is a joyful, nurturing village school set in the heart of the Royal Sandringham Estate. Our unique location shapes daily school life: children learn, play and grow surrounded by beautiful countryside, rich heritage and a strong sense of community. We are proud to have been judged Good in all areas in our most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2023), recognising the strength of our teaching, leadership and pastoral care.

Flitcham is a very special place. As a Church of England Academy, our ethos is rooted in Christian values, guiding the spiritual, moral, cultural, intellectual and social development of every child. We are deeply connected to our local churches, our village community and the Sandringham Estate, and these relationships enrich the experiences we offer.

We are a school where children are known as individuals. Staff work hard to ensure every child enjoys their learning, achieves their best, behaves well, supports others and grows in confidence. Our warm, family atmosphere helps children feel safe, valued and ready to thrive. Since 2018, we have proudly formed a federation with Sandringham and West Newton Primary Academy, and both schools are part of the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT).

We recognise the vital role parents play in their children’s education and greatly value the partnership we build with families. Our thriving PTA works tirelessly to support the school, organising events and fundraising that directly benefit our pupils.
